TrueCrypt cho phép bạn tạo ra một đĩa ảo được mã hóa trong một tập tin hoặc biến nó thành một đĩa ảo với một ký tự ổ đĩa.
Bất kỳ tập tin, dữ liệu được lưu trữ trên đĩa này sẽ tự động được mã hóa và chỉ có thể được truy cập nếu bạn cung cấp mật khẩu chính xác hoặc một chìa khóa tương ứng. TrueCrypt hỗ trợ nhiều thuật toán mã hóa như AES-256, Blowfish (448-bit key), CAST5, Serpent, Triple DES, và Twofish với độ bảo mật rất cao.
Bước 1: Download file “truecrypt-7.1-setup-x86” từ link của hay từ website: http://www.truecrypt.org/downloads
Bước 2: Vào “Console” với quyền “root“
Bước 3: Vào thư mục chứa file vừa Download, dùng lệnh “cd /home/letien/Downloads/“
Bước 4: chmod 777 truecrypt-7.1-setup-x86
Bước 5: Dùng lệnh “./truecrypt-7.1-setup-x86” -> Click “Install TrueCrypt” -> Click “I accept and agree…” -> Click “OK“
Bước 5: Nhấn Enter để xác nhận cài đặt thành công.
Nếu cài đặt xong bạn không mout được user thường thì bạn thiết lập sau
